勞工於勞保加保前已罹病，可不可以申請失能給付？

勞工朋友如於加保前已罹病，經治療後，於加保期間診斷永久失能，符合勞保失能給付標準規定，可以向勞保局申請失能給付。

提醒
如於加保前已確定局部失能，該部分失能無法給付，僅能就加保期間加重部分之失能程度請領給付。

If a worker suffers from a disease prior to being enrolled in labor insurance and, after receiving treatment, is diagnosed with a permanent disability during the insurance coverage period, he/she qualifies for labor insurance permanent disability benefits and can submit an application to the Bureau of Labor Insurance.

Reminder
If partial disability is confirmed prior to being enrolled in labor insurance, the permanent disability benefits cannot be claimed for the partial disability; the permanent disability benefits can only be claimed for disabilities diagnosed during the period of insurance coverage.
